PoolsBest® pH Reducer Liquid – Highly concentrated pH regulation with sulfuric acid 14.9%

Scope:

The PoolsBest® pH reducer liquid is a highly concentrated liquid pH reducer according to DIN 19643 with 14.9% sulfuric acid and is used to permanently lower the pH value and stabilize swimming pool water.

Product description:

The PoolsBest® pH reducer is safe to use and does not harm materials. It does not contain chlorides. It does not contain hydrochloric acid.

Recommended use:

Approximately 300 ml of liquid pH reducer is needed per 10 m³ of water to lower the pH by 0.1. The dosage also depends on the water hardness and the chlorine products used. The optimal pH value in a swimming pool is between 7.0 and 7.4. We recommend checking the pH value at least once a week with a pool or flash tester and adjusting it if necessary. Consumption depends on the desired pH value, the water hardness, and the chlorine products used. Dosing can be done using a dosing pump directly from the container, manually, or via an automatic dosing system.

Information on adjusting the pH value:

• the ideal pH value is between 7.0 – 7.4
• When the pool is newly filled or refilled (especially at the start of the season), there is natural carbon dioxide in the water
• When the pool is circulated or the pool water is heated, this escapes and thus affects the pH value
• If the pH value is too high, this will have a very negative impact on the effect of the chlorine
• The effective action of flocculants also depends on a correctly adjusted pH value
• After refilling or refilling the pool, the pH value should be measured every 2 days (e.g. with our mini pool tester)
• After about 1-2 weeks the pH value should remain stable
